Available Positions

1. Hookah Server / Attendant (Independent Contractor)

Role Purpose: To provide guests with a premium, safe, and enjoyable hookah experience while upholding the JAS HOOKAH brand standard of professionalism and hospitality.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Set up hookah stations, prepare bowls, and manage coals during events.
  • Deliver and monitor hookahs for guests, ensuring smooth smoke quality and safety.
  • Educate customers on flavors, equipment use, and safety precautions.
  • Maintain a clean and attractive presentation of the hookah area at all times.
  • Provide outstanding customer service by engaging with guests in a professional, friendly manner.
  • Assist with event setup and breakdown, including equipment transport, cleaning, and storage.

Ideal Contractor Traits:

  • Outgoing, professional, and personable.
  • Knowledgeable (or willing to learn) about hookah preparation and safety.
  • Able to handle fast-paced event environments.
  • Strong sense of presentation and customer care.

2. Security (Independent Contractor)

Role Purpose: To ensure a safe and controlled environment for guests and staff, while supporting the smooth flow of events and protecting the JAS HOOKAH brand reputation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor entrances, exits, and event areas to prevent unauthorized access or unsafe activity.
  • Enforce ID checks and ensure compliance with age and safety regulations.
  • De-escalate conflicts quickly and professionally while maintaining a calm environment.
  • Support staff and guests in emergencies (e.g., medical issues, crowd control).
  • Maintain a strong and professional presence that reflects the brand’s standard.
  • Assist with overall event security coordination, including communication with event hosts/venues.

Ideal Contractor Traits:

  • Professional, alert, and confident in crowd management.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to de-escalate situations.
  • Prior security, military, or law enforcement experience preferred.
  • Reliable, trustworthy, and committed to protecting guests and brand reputation.

✅ These two roles are your frontline contractors, but you may eventually expand with additional event-based roles like:

  • Event Coordinator/Lead (oversees staffing and logistics at events)
  • Brand Ambassadors (promote JAS HOOKAH online & in-person)
  • Logistics/Setup Crew (transport and assemble equipment for larger events).
